Texas Manifest Coding

Has anyone researched the coding notation on a Texas Manifest written years later on the same manifest? I'm curious as to what this means ( see bottom writing on attachment). I'm hoping it means my grandfather was alive all through 1954. The last record I found of him is dated 1919.

912/3 121: I - 404 lwn - San Antonio 9/15/52

I have similar coding on the bottom of my grandmother's 1919 manifest listing a date of 1932 and "Dallas".... and she was actually living in Dallas at that particular time noted.

Beatriz de Mayorga daughter of Alvaro Marin de Peñaloza

Hello Nuestros Ranchos Forum,

I found the Will of my ancestor Beatriz de Mayorga on the Aguascalientes site and it mentions her son my direct ancestor Joseph Martin de Sotomayor. Could someone possibly tell me what it says about Joseph Martin de Sotomayor. I put giant yellow parenthesis around the passage.

Locating a "libro reservado" in baptismal records, Asuncion de Maria, Aguascalientes

In reviewing the digital copy of an indexed baptism, the priest indicated that the names of the parents and the grandparents paternos and maternos were located in the "libro reservado," Checking several pages in front of and behind this record, I could not locate another record in which the priest referred to the "libro reservado." This record was indexed and the indexer listed the names of the parents and the grandarents, which I have located in other records, however there is a discrepancy with the surname of the maternal grandmother.

"México, Aguascalientes, registros parroquiales, 1620-1962," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-266-11811-102828-20?cc=1502404… : accessed 18 September 2015), Aguascalientes > Asunción de María > Bautismos 1861-1862 > image 470 of 504; parroquias Católicas, Aguascalientes (Catholic Church parishes, Aguascalientes).

If, as the record is indexed, Jose Pedro is the son of Franciso Luebano and Cleofas Prieto, then his marriage record indicates that he was the hijo legtm of Francisco Luebano y Cleofas Prieto, so I don't think I am looking for a book of baptisms for "hijos naturals."

I'm hoping that someone can direct me to the location of the "libro researvdo," and offer an understanding of this term.

Thank you,

Garibay Gutierrez

Rafael Garibay casado do Maria Ygnacia Gutierrez

Mendozas from 1700's San Luis Potosi

I was wondering if anyone might be able to assist me in continuing my research into the Mendoza family surname. Using FamilySearch.org historical I have been able to trace back my paternal family line (Mendoza) to San Luis Potosi. The last record I have found was a marriage of my GGGG grandfather, Jose Salbador Mendoza, to Maria Bruna Gamez dated 27 May 1812 in the Pueblo de S.Geronimo. The age of Salbador Mendoza is listed as 20 so I reasoned that he should have been born in 1792+/-. This Document list my GGGGG Grandfather as Juan Nicolas Mendoza. Unfortunately this is as far as I have been able to go. I have attached the marriage document should anyone wish to look and see if they might find additional information.
