Thomas Hillerkuss, along with José Enciso Contreras, is one of the authors of a series titled "Diccionario Biografico del Occidente Novohispano Siglo XVI" being publishd by the Universidad Autonoma de Zacatecas.

Helpful tips to search the IGI database.

The Timeline Form is used to document 1 person's life from birth to death. You would list the actual documents that you found your ancestor listed. This then gives you your ancestor's location (migration path) for his birth, marriage, census, as a Padrino, as a parent for his children, or his house was listed on someone's death certificate and then his own death location.
