Hello fellow members,

As part of an upcoming system upgrade to modernize our community platform, we are automatically standardizing all account usernames to align with security and industry guidelines.

This change will impact 15% of all existing member username accounts.  Your username will only change if any of the below criteria are in your existing username.

• What is changing:
  • Spaces and @ symbols will automatically convert to underscores (_).
  • Periods will be completely removed.
  • Any spaces or periods at the very end of a username will be eliminated entirely.
• Your Password: Your password will not change. You will use your current password with your modified username.
• Effective Date of username change: November 15th at 6:00 AM.

Examples of the change:

• Old Username: John Doe. → New Username: John_Doe (Space becomes underscore, trailing period removed)
• Old Username: J. Doe → New Username: J_Doe (Period removed, space becomes underscore)
• Old Username: John@Doe → New Username: John_Doe (@ symbol becomes underscore)

After 6:00 AM on November 15th, you must use your modified username to log into the NuestrosRanchos website.

All impacted accounts will also be sent an individual email, noting these upcoming changes.
