Familia de la Torre, Gonzalez, Martin, Munoz, Lozano et al San Juan de Los Lagos aka Mezquititlan

Just sharing some information I have in case it helps others or future generations. Most of my information has been kept on Ancestry but I would like to find another way to manage what I have collected so that the Ancestry corporation doesn't "own" it. 

Anyway, I am sharing some photos and hoping other relatives may have photos of my ancestors that they can share to help me "know them" better. What I love about genealogy is researching the stories and history of the time an ancestor lived to try and understand who they may have been.

My mother's father's side was mostly in Guanajuato and Michoacán (Mestizos of Purepecha & Nahua nations) and my maternal grandmother's family was primarily in Los Altos de Jalisco, Aguascalientes, Zacatecas, and Mexica descendants of Moctezuma that ended upon in Jalisco, Zacatecas, & Aguascalientes (de la Torre, Gonzalez, Martin, Lozano, Romo, Munoz, Padilla, Martin del Campo, Padilla, Nava, Garibay, Tiscareno, Romo). My spouse's family (Correa, Casas, Renteria, Haro, Valenzuela) is mostly from Zacatecas and his mother was born in Tlaltenango but they had ancestors in Los Altos de Jalisco as well. Happy to connect and collaborate with others working on these familias.
