Specifically, I am descended from Diego de Trevino, born ca. 1535, parents Diego Trevino y Velasco & Francisca de Alcocer Banuelos.

Previously, I had confused this Deigo with Diego Trevino, born ca. 1557, parents Baltasar Temino-Banuelos de Alcoideo-Ascoide (b 1511)& Maria Zaldivar y Mendoza (b ca. 1539).

The purpose of my research is to find the descendants of the mistaken man, whose line I researched extensively, to discover if I am also connected to him thru another direction.
