I have many Miramontes in my genealogy and have seen the surname Miramontes evolve to Viramontes beginning about the late 1800's.

Has anyone ever not found a baptism registration between 1845-1860 in Jalisco? I have been searching for one for my great great grandfather for about a year now and no luck.
Antonio de Mata y Rebollar is my Maternal (Martinez/Pena) 6th Great Grandfather. He was born about 1674. He married Rosa de Santos on 15 April 1695 in Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, Mexico.

I have found some sources that give some genealogy on Diego Temiño de Velasco’s wife Francisca de Alcocer.
I am finding references to a marriage between Juan Padilla Davila and Antonia Martin del Campo in several places. The date given is 25 abril 1705, either in Jalostotitlan or San Juan de los Lagos.
Does anyone know there surrounding parishes near Cotija. It appears there isnt any church records of Cotija for my grandmother in 1815. Please Help. Thanks.
