Primary Research Goal:

My main objective on the site is to locate primary ecclesiastical and civil records to conclusively verify the parentage of Genaro Rosales (b. ~1846). There is a possibility of a strong oral history and parallel tree linkage indicating that Genaro is the sibling of Manuela Rosales, making our family directly related to the martyr Saint Román Adame Rosales (b. 1859, Teocaltiche, Jalisco). I am seeking primary source verification (such as Genaro's marriage or baptism records) to solidly map out this specific lineage.

Just sharing some information I have in case it helps others or future generations. Most of my information has been kept on Ancestry but I would like to find another way to manage what I have collected so that the Ancestry corporation doesn't "own" it. 

Anyway, I am sharing some photos and hoping other relatives may have photos of my ancestors that they can share to help me "know them" better. What I love about genealogy is researching the stories and history of the time an ancestor lived to try and understand who they may have been.
