I’m new to the group. I’ve been trying to follow all the e-mails and have been overwhelmed by all the information you have all accomplished. I feel guilty that I have so little to share. I know very little about my father’s mother and he is not very interested in genealogy.

I found a copy of my grandmother’s civil registration in Chihuahua which states that she was born in Zacatecas.

Fernandina Rodriquez birth 16 March 1902
Mother: Margarita Correa birth about 1877
Father: Anastasio Rodriquez birth about 1877 native of Guanajuato

Paternal Grandparents
Caciano Rodriguez
Cipriano Martinez

Maternal Grandparents
Romualdo Correa
Ines Ibarra

The civil registration also lists the following siblings
Teresa 16 Aug 1900
Anastasio 20 May 1905
Antonio 19 Mar 1909

Such a wealth of information from just one registration.

I also found the civil registration in Chihuahua of another sister
Margarita 25 June 1903 born in Chihuahua. This has her mother’s birth abt 1880.

I was hoping someone could point me to a new place to do research for Zacatecas. I have researched the Zacatecas films from LDS and seem to have hit a wall.
